Night Boarding at Boreal

I went boarding at Boreal on Friday night. It was $10 with a student ID ($22 w/o). The snow was pretty icy and it was warm enough to not need a face mask. There was no wind. It was like a big party. There was a competition that was going on when I got there. I was too late to enter but I don't think I would have done that well anyway. Other than that it was a pretty uneventful weekend. We went fridge shopping and made some really good raw sushi.

Our snowman. He was stabbed in the chest by his own nose and slowly started to lean until he was resting on his celery arm. He's gone now but I'm sure there will be enough snow to build another one this weekend!

Snow, snow, snow

Over the past week, we've had more snow in the valley than I've ever seen. And I've lived in Reno all my life. It has made for some epic snowboarding at Mt. Rose and the Chutes. We've also had quite a bit of fun playing in it around the house. Baby loves to play in it. I know these posts can get pretty boring without pictures so I'll try to get more up soon. I lost my camera for about a week but it finally turned up the other day so I should be back in business.
